Vickie Robinson sent me, the editor, the following: "Classmate Marilyn Bunch died in December 2003, from a fast growing sarcoma which had been diagnosed in May.

"She attended PHS in 1961 and 1962, moving to West Virginia prior to our graduation. Although she was here less than two years, she made many friends, and she and I became lifelong pals.

"Merilyn graduated from nuke University and enrolled at Northwestern University Law School where the few women students wore hats and gloves to class! At Northwestern, she met Jim Bunch who became her husband. After law school they settled in Denver where their two sons, Bryan and Jim were born. The boys graduated from Stanford and live in the Bay Area. Merilyn and Jim bought a home in Cannel Meadows, just south of Carmel, and they visited often.

"Bryan and his fiance decided to get married this July so that Merilyn could be at the wedding. It was a highlight of an otherwise difficult time. She handled her illness with the grace and dignity that she exhibited throughout her life."
