David Malnick died January I, 2007 while on vacation with his family in Peru. My own memories of David go back to kindergarten and Mrs. Jacobsen and continue into the present. David and I played together as kids as far back as I can remember, he and I were in Cub Scouts together, and he was a valued friend.

David graduated from UOPs McGeorge School of Law and practiced personal injury law for 30 years, specializing in closed head injury, and lectured at a number of law schools including Santa Clara and Stanford Universities. He is survived by his wife Carol, daughter Meredith (of whom he was very proud), his mother, and two brothers, Joel and Warren, who I'm sure many of us remember. We will all miss David and our thoughts go out to his family.
